Madhusudanan Kandasamy serves as the Director for AI Software Development at Qualcomm India. His team specializes in crafting software to optimize deep learning inference on Snapdragon chipsets, catering to mobile, compute, auto, and IoT applications. Lately, their focus has shifted towards enhancing the performance of large GEN-AI models for edge device deployment. With over twenty years of industry experience, he is an expert in Artificial Intelligence, Distributed ML/DL frameworks, Big Data Processing, and Unix/Linux Operating System Development. During his tenure at IBM, he contributed to the development of distributed machine learning software for multi-node CPU-GPU clusters aimed at reducing training time. In the OS Domain, he worked on the development of lock-free memory allocators, various UNIX/Linux Kernel features, and System Call Optimization.
